Over the course of Brighton Ballet Theater’s long history, we have been privileged to watch thousands of young dancers mature into fine adults. These men and women have pursued a wide variety of careers, both within and outside the realm of dance, and have achieved great things in their chosen fields. We cannot help but think that the teamwork, confidence, self-discipline, artistic expression and poise that they acquired in ballet have contributed in some way to their success. Some of our graduates are now:

Dancing with professional companies
Pursuing college degrees with a major or minor in dance
Acting in films and television
Working as broadcast journalists
Operating their own businesses
Practicing as attorneys
Managing theater and arts programs across the country
Teaching dance and other subjects

We are proud of all our alumni, regardless of whether they became professional dancers or followed their dreams in different directions. Some of our former students now work at Brighton Ballet Theater, help out with performances, and send their own children to our school. We would like to stay in touch with all those who have danced with us. The Brighton Ballet Theater is a brilliant school, teaching many different forms of dance, including hip-hop, ballrooom, latin dances, modern dance, ballet, and toddler groups for children ages 2 and older. The school offers great teaching classes at all times of the week. The school also offers scholarships for dance for the children wanting to get involved in the program. Many children of all ages, even adults come to learn dance for fun. The school has many concerts over the course of the year, like the ballet The Nutcracker, story The Ugly Duckling, and yearly performance concerts. Over 400 kids go to the school every year, and many more tend to come later for try-outs. The school is a wonderful place to learn dance.

Our experience with Brighton Ballet Theater is 6 years now. My daughter started when she was 2.5 years old from the class "Appreciation Music" and now she is in advance ballet class. She loves ballet, she loves her teachers Eduard and Larisa. Now I am bringing my youngest daughter to Brighton Ballet Theater too. I want to recommend this school to everyone and want to express great appreciation to the teaches Ira, Eduard, Larisa and Yulia for their attentiveness, kindness, love to their students.

Brighton Ballet is a great dance school where children of all ages get the opportunity to learn with amazing teachers that provide a lot of attention to every individual student. The productions of the school allow the children to dance professionally and give them the chance to be on a stage. My daughter goes to Brighton Ballet for 3 years and enjoy very much. She keeps dancing when she comes home and teaches me to do so. The individual attention makes us work more for weaknesses and to be better. My belly dance is the special part too! I didn't know that I can be good and watch as new people come and day by day they are better and better. Me and my daughter dance on the stage, if there is anyway I could possible do it in my life?!! We thank the Brighton Ballet for the opportunity given to our daughters to be a part of the exposure to the "world of dance" not only for my daughters but for the whole family. Our daughters started their dancing experience this year and its been great. One daughter is introduced to beginning classical ballet classes, and the other to modern dance and charleston dance classes. We hope they'll continue to En Pointe class. I am a current student of Brighton Ballet Theatre and I have never enjoyed taking class as much as I do here. Having gone through many ballet schools, I can say without a doubt Brighton Ballet Theater is very special and unique. Brighton Ballet Theater's instructors are all at very professional levels who know how to teach very high quality levels of dance. Each ballet class is accompanied with live music, which is very essential and unfortunately, rare to find in NYC ballet schools. Every student is paid attention to, no matter what their current level of skill is. Teachers strive to bring out the best dancer one can be, understanding that each individual is different and has different abilities. Brighton Ballet Theatre is a top-notch ballet school, which is why students return year after year without thoughts of leaving.

This is the second year that my daughter takes ballet classes at Brighton Ballet Theater. She is very happy about getting new friends, learning dance techniques, and participating in shows twice a year. I see the effect the dance classes have on her growing body, posture, and overall health. The teachers put a lot of effort to teach the girls classical ballet technique, and what I like the most - to get along with other girls. The dancers also learn to coordinate dancing as a group, and constantly listen to live classical music, which has positive effect on developing mind and psych. I am very pleased with the whole program and recommend it to anyone who wants their kids to learn the beauty of classical ballet.

I love Brighton Ballet! There are many great opportunities here for children to have fun and learn to dance. This is a great atmosphere and i have been coming here my whole childhood.

This school of Russian ballet is taught by professionals yet it feels like fun. They take kids as young as 2 and kids simply love the experience. The atmosphere is very friendly and warm, not the bootcamp/drill sargeant type that some ballet instructors seem to profess.

It is a great school that is a great place to go and make friends. It is a home away from home and everyone is welcome here making it the ultimate after school activity. There are different types of dancing here such as ballet, modern etc.

I have been at Brighton Ballet Theater for 8 years now and I have loved it from the very beginning. I have been exposed to more than just ballet, such as Russian folk dancing, and character dancing. It's so much fun performing in their performances. The staff are all great to work with.
